The Brady Campaign to make you helpless has struck again. Now they tell the people of Norway they don’t have it so bad. “84 dead is essentially the everyday toll of fatal gun violence in America”. They go on to praise “Norway’s strong gun laws” and remind the tiny nation of under 5 million people that guns kill more people in America every year. Population 309 Million.

Do you think someone should point out that the nation of Norway has a smaller population than Long Island, New York – not even New York City – so they’d need to multiply the number by the ratio of our populations (about 70) to make that an even remotely meaningful statement?
Do you think someone ought to point out to the Brady Bunch that the countries at the top of that graph have the strictest gun laws?
